Just met with Sandra Sanderson who says she will sew ALL the blue robes!!

She will have them by Dec 1.  I'd like them earlier, but I TOTALLY  trust she will get them done and having them all in one person's hands is easier than dividing up the fabric.  She says we  don't  need to prewash anything.   The days of fabric needing prewashing are long gone.

  1. very glad re all of it - equally re Sandra and the no-prewashing - I never prewash for quilting anymore b/c I like how it looks if the fabric shrinks a tad after construction - makes it look antique-y-er -- but hadn't done any non-quilt sewing in so long I had no idea. Coolsville.

  2. I'll just work on the prototype and pattern now in time for our fabric-prep get-together.

  3. My sister, Lisa, fabulous seamstress, recommends we do prewash the fabric for the stoles UNLESS they are both poly. Im going to get exact fabric content and call her again to be sure.
