Next Show

I like Heather's idea of making part of the show  a bit about UU somehow.  Not sure  how.  the jokes are ok with me-- though  it hard to find ones that are not overdone....
t o borrow a page from traditional religion:

I attended a similar evening  event at Peace Congregational a few years ago and in the  midst of all the music someone gave what they call a " testimony"  of what the church meant to them.  It was  very moving to hear this man talk about the value of finally finding a church " home".
IF  we found the right speaker-- this might be possible.

But   would    it be important to make it different than the services we sometimes do on what UU means to me?

re rehearsal times:  I had to leave last night at 6: 30---  thanks for the support

I 'm fine with regularly meeting till 7.  Is that what everyone else thinks we are doing ?

 Does anyone have any congas?

  1. Re meeting time - I had wondered about this, too: Are we going back to 6-7PM or 5:30-6:30PM now that the WSSR is over? Is everyone still able to meet for a 1.5h rehearsal? I think I can, but want to be sensitive to everyone's time. Maybe we can look back at the covenant and make adjustments to make sure we are clear on our expectations of each other.

  2. I'm fine for 530-7 - maybe we could have 530-630 the official time but unofficially stay a half hour later anytime you can/when nec? (I'd be up for staying every time but I understand some people might not be able to)

  3. Let's say the rehearsal time is 5: 30 - 7:00 and we might be done early some nights.

It would give us time to look at songs we once started and put on the back burner because of WSSR and now the installation

It MIGHT be that we use some of the time for the broadway show.
