- Woyaya (we didn't rehearse this but I'm guessing we'll plan to do it same as we did it recently for service?)
- Hymns will be How can I keep from singing and Rising Green, maybe a third? I feel like I missed writing one down...
For this coming Sunday 4/23:
- Keep on the Sunny Side
- Solos for verses:
- Sara S. verse 1
- Sarah M. 2
- Susan 3
- Elaine and Scott join everyone for chorus - harmonizing OK!
- Chorus 2x at end - some talk of repeating the final line again slowly for effect, Grand Ol' Opry style...
- Paula on piano
- Please meet at UUFC at 10am for rehearsal/warmup
We are not singing Sunday 4/30
Scott T. has let Elaine know he will have time to sing over the summer (Yay)! There is the possibility at least of some duos, etc. as the summer evolves... Please try to think of your summer plans and have any pertinent absence dates handy next week at rehearsal.
Just a thought: tho the Gcal is public, not that many people access it - Elaine do you want to have people's summer dates on there? Then if anyone has changes they can either just edit their own dates or let me or Sherri know and we can do it for them, but you'd always have the most accurate dates to reference... juste une idée... If so I can input everyone at or after rehearsal next week...
ps I meant the "not that many people access it" bit re the cal to say that therefore I thought choir members wouldn't have to worry about privacy etc. in case they felt funny having their absence dates published online...
ReplyDeletedoh! one more edit I added... chorus of Sunny Side this week 2x at end, poss repeat of last line again for effect...
