somewhat belated but not too crucial notes from rehearsal 4/29/13

(As always please feel free to revise as nec. if errors, etc.)

We did a lot of singing WSSR stuff. Fun!

Tentative new date we are singing: 6/9 - this is already on SS calendar - piece TBD

Otherwise all we did was practice "Breathe In Breathe Out" for 5/19. We decided on this for procedure so please practice accordingly at home:


  • 1x thru -  drone part alone
  • 1x - add melody
  • 3x thru with descant added
  • drop descant  - 2x more with melody
  • Stop on chord together. 
  • High C joins in a moment into chord



This piece is #1009 in the aqua hymnal...

...which is neither waterproof nor capable of swimming.

    clarification: the 6/9 date is just to add to our existing dates... best practice for minimal confusion just refer/link to the gcal of course

    I edited the "meditation on breathing" protocol according to what I __think__ we said Monday :) please let me know if it's wrong!
