remarks, schedule, some notes, and a link, from Elaine

First of all  Tremendous  thanks to everyone for all the work and  great performance Sunday.
You noticed people dancing in the aisles-- some with tears on their faces??!  WOW THE POWER OF GOOD MUSIC!!

Second:  welcome Jorge--  !

We spent the rehearsal on new 4 part song  Let us see  the beauty.  You can listen to here:

http://www.laurencecole.com/album/let-us-see-the-beauty/

My goal is to be able to have this song ready to go so if new people show up at rehearsal ( Sarah McNeil and someone else have mentioned coming next week)  they could join us on it.  Some parts are tricky to get at first  ( for some of us)  but I think if our parts are strong a newbie can latch on. I am trying to find  a balance of  challenging and easy songs.

April 17  Defying Gravity
April 24   In My Quiet Sorry  Elaine,  Sara  Susan

and would like to add

May 8    Hymn  1001: Breaths  The lyrics are

Listen more often to things than to beings, tis the ancestor's breath when the fire's voice is heard, tis the ancestors breath in the voice of the waters.   Those who  have died have never left.  The dead are not under the earth.  They are in the rustling trees, they are in the groaning woods, they are in the  crying grass,  they are in the moaning rocks,  the dead are not under the earth..

This is Ed P.'s service and he will use this hym to frame  his thinking.  The  topic  of the month is Silence.
